Sardinia Bay K-9 Academy are walking/ running and raising funds for Rhino Dogs and their needs AGAIN - "Birthday Edition"!

We will be hosting a K9 Beach Walk & Run at Sards - The Best Beach 4 your Best FURRY Friend AGAIN - "Birthday Edition"!

Dogs are welcome on the following 2 beach only routes:

1.)

2.5km @ R75.00pp (R25 extra 4 late reg.) - starting 08h45,

2.)

5km @ R100.00pp (R50 extra 4 late reg.) - starting 08h30,

Dogs are not permitted on the following 3 beach & reserve routes:

3.)

6km @ R100.00pp (R50 extra 4 late reg.) - starting 08h30,

4.)

10km @ R110.00pp (R50 extra 4 late reg.) - starting 08h00,

5.)

15km @ R120.00pp (R50 extra 4 late reg.) - starting 07h45.

This event is open to ALL Runners - Road/ Trail and Doggie Enthusiasts, whether you are walking a dog or not!!!

Please join us in supporting the K9 Rhino Rangers Project (founded in 2015), in their quest to provide every Rhino/ Elephant Reserve with an Anti-Poaching Dog (and/or necessary equipment along the way)!

The K9 Rhino Rangers Project is a proactive one, set to provide trained Anti-Poaching Dogs (and/ or necessary equipment along the way) for Tracking and Apprehension to every Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape & further afield, before it's too late.

Extinction is forever!

Current Reserve Managers and/ or APU Managers/ Members are then trained as K9 APU Handlers.

The project is currently funded by Honey 4 Rhino Dogs whereby ALL the proceeds of the local 100% raw honey sold, goes specifically to Anti-Poaching Dogs and their needs.

The project is also funded now by these K9 Beach Walk & Run events.

Honey 4 Rhino Dogs also supports the Chipembere Rhino Foundation.

Early 2017 saw Honey 4 Rhino Dogs handing over K9 Equipment, valued at over R12,500.00, to Chipembere for further distribution to local reserves with existing K9 APU.

The K9 Rhino Rangers Project also supports the Chipembere Rhino Foundation and the dog(s) once trained and ready will be handed over to them and deployed where they deem necessary.

The K9 Trainer of choice is K-9 Detection & Protection Services

The K9 Handler Trainer of choice is Bronyx K-9 Training College.

The K9 will be housed and cared for with Sardinia Bay Kennels.
